The Eco Report 2025 is our annual overview of our commitment to sustainable production practices that respect both people and the environment. From responsible water management using precision irrigation to our transition to green electricity, we share every step we take to minimize our environmental footprint and protect the land that sustains us.
Water resource management
Optimization of Water Management
- Continuous Monitoring: Real-time tracking of irrigation water consumption to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Conservation Systems: High-efficiency irrigation infrastructure designed to eliminate water waste.
- Precision Irrigation: Full deployment of drip irrigation and micro-sprinklers across all cultivation areas.
In 2025, we achieved a 9% reduction in water consumption per stremma (0.1 hectares) compared to 2024. Furthermore, a 9% reduction per kilogram of finished product, successfully mitigating the impact of severe summer drought conditions.
Green Electric Energy
In 2025, 44% of the total electricity consumed by our cold storage and packaging facilities was generated from renewable sources via our proprietary photovoltaic park. Specifically, out of the total 645 MWh required for operations, 283 MWh were produced directly by our on-site solar power system.
ELECTRICITY SAVINGS
INDUSTRIAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Maximizing energy conservation across industrial production operations. Structural improvements implemented in recent years—specifically targeting the reduction of thermal losses in cold storage facilities and the optimization of electricity consumption across corporate buildings—continue to deliver sustained efficiency gains. In 2025, we achieved a 26% reduction in electricity consumption per metric ton of product compared to our five-year average and an 8% reduction decrease in consumption per ton against 2024 levels.
ELECTRICITY SAVINGS
AGRICULTURAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Optimizing resource consumption across cultivation and farming operations.
Achieved a 25% reduction in propane usage of greenhouse heating through intelligent climate management and secured a 4% reduction in diesel fuel consumption of agricultural machinery.
Despite a 57% expansion in greenhouse acreage over the last five years—which significantly increased our baseline energy requirements—electricity consumption per metric ton of finished product rose by only 19% compared to the five-year average. This mitigated energy growth was achieved through the optimized configuration and operation of our automated greenhouse climate control systems. Furthermore, operational enhancements led to additional resource savings per stremma (0.1 hectares).
WASTE MANAGEMENT & CIRCULAR ECONOMY
- Material Recycling: In 2025, we collected and processed 15,850 kg of paper and 13,440 kg of plastic, delivering all materials to certified recycling partners.
- Agricultural By-Products: We redistributed approximately 185 metric tons of surplus leafy vegetables to local livestock farms for use as animal feed.
- Furtermore, we collected and delivered 770 kg of empty plant protection product packaging (EWC 15 01 01) to a licensed waste management company, ensuring full environmental compliance
PACKAGING MATERIALS
Regarding the quality and environmental compliance of our corrugated cardboard crates, our procurement partners formally certify the following specifications:
"Our crates are manufactured from virgin and recyclable paper. All inks and adhesives utilized are fully eco-friendly. Furthermore, our manufacturing partners hold valid certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the world's most trusted authority on responsible forest management."
- Sustainable Sourcing: In 2025, 89% of all paper packaging materials procured for our operations originated from recycled sources.
