HISTORY
The story of the Vezyroglou family is more than just a chronological business record. It is a living bond with the land that spans over a century, driven by a profound passion for cultivation and a constant pursuit of agricultural innovation.
1914
In the early 20th century, the Vezyroglou family thrived as prominent citizens in Magnesia, Asia Minor (near Smyrna). In 1914, Giagkos Vezyroglou exchanged his estate in Magnesia for the land property located near present-day Alexandreia, Imathia.
1922
After the occupation of Smyrna in 1922, the Vezyroglou family arrived from Magnesia in Asia Minor to Skinas, Alexandria, Imathia. Most of the farm during the 1930s was expropriated by the Greek State and the rest (approximately 130 hectares) was divided between Antonis Vezyroglou, his two brothers and his sister.
